Mathew Verdon brings length, leadership, and old-school linebacker toughness to Lehigh
In the available Lehigh profile, Mathew Verdon is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound junior linebacker from Orlando who earned all-state and all-metro honors in high school and was a team captain and defensive player of the year[1][3]. His edge is size plus range: that frame gives him matchup versatility, and his early-college snaps show he was trusted enough to start at outside linebacker and make immediate tackles in game action[1]. He looks like a fit for a team that values effort, intelligence, and a high-upside defender with room to grow into his body[1][3].
