Iowa State’s most productive QB and a high-floor leader
Purdy was a high-volume, high-output Iowa State quarterback who finished his Cyclone career as the program’s winningest QB and record holder in major passing categories, making him a clear fit for teams that value composure, accuracy, and command of the offense.[1][3] He stands out less for flash than for steadiness, poise under pressure, and leadership traits that translated to a consistently competitive Iowa State attack.[1][3] For a roster needing a reliable decision-maker who elevates structure and efficiency, Purdy is the kind of quarterback you care about because his game travels beyond the box score.[1][3]
