Mackenzie Kila has become CSUN’s late-blooming spark plug in 2026
In the 2026 season, senior INF Mackenzie Kila has emerged as a true difference-maker for Cal State Northridge: she’s batting .244 with 30 hits, 21 RBI, six doubles, a triple, and 10 stolen bases, while also handling the glove cleanly enough to show trust in the infield and versatility on the bases. After not appearing in any games in 2025, she earned her spot by “seizing the moment,” and CSUN’s coach praised her for bringing the spark the team needed. That combo of resilience, speed, and clutch production makes her a strong fit for teams that value grit and energy.
