Carla Stubbs brings veteran scoring punch and all-around guard play to FAU
Carla Stubbs is a proven floor-raiser for Florida Atlantic: in the 2008-09 season, she led the Owls at 11.7 points per game while adding 5.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists, and FAU credited her with a string of double-digit outings and a return to all-conference form after re-entering the starting lineup. The big differentiator is her two-way versatility as a 5-10 guard who can score, rebound, and create, not just handle the ball. She looks like the kind of experienced, competitive guard who can steady a roster and punish defenses when she gets rolling.
