Jacob Dilley is turning into UNCG’s do-everything bat behind the plate
In the 2026 season, Jacob Dilley has emerged as one of UNC Greensboro’s most productive hitters, leading the team with 10 home runs and ranking second in RBIs and hits after earning SoCon Player of the Week honors for a monster series at Virginia Tech. His appeal goes beyond the box score: he brings legit power, enough contact to stay in the lineup every day, and defensive value as a C/OF with a strong track record handling runners. If a team wants a tough, versatile, middle-of-the-order presence with real competitive bite, Dilley checks a lot of boxes.
