BYU’s do-it-all engine, built for chaos and the glass
In the 2015-16 season, Collinsworth was the rare guard who could tilt a game with rebounds, playmaking, and relentless energy—finishing his BYU career with 12.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game across 140 games, plus the NCAA career triple-double record and BYU’s all-time assist mark. He’s the kind of player who makes a roster better in every dirty-work category: pace, versatility, and winning plays. A knee surgery interruption in his college career only made the comeback arc more impressive, and his motor and unselfishness are exactly the sort of traits coaches love to plug into a team.
