Laura Richards’ value is built on steady defense and veteran guard savvy
Laura Richards brings a dependable, defense-first guard profile for Valparaiso, with the kind of ballpressure, playmaking, and composure coaches love in a rotation piece or glue player. Publicly available Valpo bio material shows the Laura Richards name associated with strong assist and steal production in prior seasons, but current-season, verified 2026 stat detail was not available in the gathered sources, so the best read is her fit: someone who can help stabilize possessions, raise the team’s intensity, and do the little things that winning teams quietly adore.
