Will Smith brings Bucknell a versatile, physical presence in the secondary
Will Smith projects as a safety with the kind of value coaches love: disciplined run support, reliable tackling, and enough versatility to fit multiple coverage looks. I could not verify detailed current-season production from the provided results, so the strongest read is on role and fit rather than stat-line hype. If Bucknell wants a steady, assignment-sound defender who can help limit explosive plays and play with urgency, Smith looks like the type of athlete who raises a defense’s floor more than its highlight reel.
