From McDonald's All-American to Coaching Rising Star
Alexandria Young transitioned from a standout playing career at USD (2014-2018) to coaching, currently serving as Director of Basketball Operations at Gonzaga. The San Diego native was a McDonald's All-American who averaged 13.9 ppg and 8.6 rpg in her senior year at Mater Dei High School. As a player, Young demonstrated versatility and basketball IQ, earning WCC All-Academic honors. Now on the coaching side, she's built recruiting expertise across multiple programs (UCSD, Fresno State, Gonzaga), making her valuable for programs seeking someone who understands player development, academic excellence, and West Coast basketball culture.
