James Randall brings a high-motor linebacker profile to Idaho
Randall projects as a physical, active **outside linebacker** who plays with a clear defensive instinct set; as a senior at Compton, he posted **68 tackles, 4 fumble recoveries, 1 pass breakup, and 1 interception**, which points to a playmaker who can finish, create turnovers, and stay around the ball. He fits best for a program that values effort, pursuit speed, and special-teams-ready toughness rather than pure size, and at **6-0, 205** he looks like a compact, downhill defender with room to develop into a reliable all-around contributor.
