Rayshawn Weatherspoon brings veteran Tennessee State speed and all-state pedigree to the Tigers
Rayshawn Weatherspoon is a Tennessee State wide receiver listed at 6-foot-2 and 176 pounds, with roster notes highlighting two-time all-state and two-time all-region honors from South Pittsburg, Tennessee[1]. He also has a history as a return specialist, which hints at quick-twitch value and open-field pop beyond standard WR production[2]. The key question is current-form detail: publicly available team and ESPN profiles confirm the player and position, but not fresh 2026 stat totals, so his appeal is more about versatile athletic upside, experience, and special-teams juice than a stat-sheet splash right now[2][3].
