Western Carolina’s Kevin Thompson: freshman long snapper with clean-sheet upside
In the 2026 season, Kevin Thompson is listed as a freshman long snapper for Western Carolina, which tells the whole special-teams story: he’s being developed for a precision role where reliability, consistency, and nerves matter more than box-score noise. At 5'10" and 210 pounds, the Rock Hill, S.C. product brings solid build and youth, but there’s no public stat line yet to judge on-field production. If your team wants a snap specialist with upside, he’s a profile worth watching; if you need proven, game-tested experience today, he’s still early in the climb.
