a veteran sharpshooter with deep Spartan roots
Robert Owens is a former San Jose State guard best known for his shooting touch and big-shot reputation: in the 2009-10 season, he hit 47.4% from three and 85.3% from the line, and he still appears in Spartans record-book conversations for perimeter scoring. His game profile screams floor-spacing, confidence, and clutch-shot energy rather than flashy volume; the kind of guard who can change a game with a quick scoring burst and steady poise. If you want a reliable creator who can stretch defenses, Owens fits the mold.
