Malcolm Johnson brings size, experience, and a fight-earned edge to UNLV’s linebacker room
In the 2026 season, Malcolm Johnson profiles as a big-bodied UNLV linebacker with a résumé shaped as much by resilience as by production; UNLV’s own bio says he’s been “held back by injuries” but is a “nice-sized Louisiana product” working to earn more time. That makes him an intriguing fit for teams valuing toughness, length, and developmental upside over flashy stat lines. At 6-1 and about 226 pounds, he has the frame to hold up in the box and the kind of gritty, prove-it mentality coaches usually love.
