Once a Depth Guard, Not a Current Gophers Contributor
Daquein McNeil last logged college action for Minnesota in the 2014-15 season, when he averaged 1.6 points and 1.1 rebounds in 30 games while providing backcourt depth rather than headline production. His profile was built more on size and versatility at guard than on scoring punch, but he is not a current Minnesota roster piece. For anyone evaluating fit today, the answer is simple: he’s not an active college basketball option for the Gophers, and his on-court value as a prospect was limited to rotation support.
