Minford's Rising FB Star Poised for Lehigh Leap
Matthew Risner, a hard-nosed fullback from Minford High School (OH), stands out with his bruising running style and relentless blocking intensity, making him a perfect fit for Lehigh Mountain Hawks' physical, ground-and-pound offense—think classic FB who punishes defenders and sets up the run game. No major injury history, just pure blue-collar grit from his 2017-18 Falcons tenure where he powered through tough Southern Ohio matchups like Rock Hill and Oak Hill. Reliable sources like MaxPreps highlight his high school timeline as a differentiator for Patriot League scouts; he's the prototypical 'why care' player who elevates team toughness.
