Mark Flakes brings versatility to Delaware State’s secondary
Mark Flakes is listed as a Delaware State Hornets defensive back, but the public stat trail is thin, so the best read is that he’s a depth-and-development piece whose value comes from flexibility and effort rather than headline numbers. Recruiting/profile databases identify him as a multi-sport athlete with measurable speed and general athleticism, which suggests upside in coverage, special teams, and role flexibility. If you need a ready-made star with a deep statistical résumé, he’s not that yet; if you want a coachable DB who can grow into a useful, assignment-sound contributor, he’s a reasonable fit.
