Trevor Nikolis brings a power arm and pro-style frame to UNF’s rotation mix
Trevor Nikolis is a right-hander with a sturdy 6-foot-1, 219-pound build and a pitchability profile that already earned him 11 starts and a 3.36 ERA in the 2026 season after transferring from North Florida to App State, along with 56.1 innings, a .197 opponent batting average, and 41 strikeouts for UNF in earlier stat logs. His edge is feel and competitiveness: UNF’s roster bio says he held hitters under .200 in all three high school seasons, threw a complete-game shutout with six punchouts in the regional quarterfinals, and was praised by Nikolis himself for the coaching staff and team culture. He looks like a fit for teams that want toughness, strike-throwing, and a starter’s mentality over flash.
