In the 2023-24 season, Logyn McNeil gave Houston a steady forward option: she appeared in 30 games, hit career highs of 8 points and 6 rebounds against Florida A&M, and logged a career-best 18 minutes against UCF. Listed at 6-3, she was originally ranked the No. 18 forward in her recruiting class by ESPNU and was praised by Houston for her ability to score inside, face up from the perimeter, rebound, outlet in transition, and fit an uptempo, pressing style.
