Stonehill’s freshman spark plug and immediate NEC standout
In the 2026 season, Juli Murillo wasted no time becoming one of Stonehill softball’s most reliable bats, hitting .374 with 11 doubles, a triple, 22 RBI, and a .450 average against NEC opponents while starting all 49 games. She was named NEC Rookie of the Year and All-NEC Second Team, which tells you the numbers came with real league-wide impact. The big appeal: she hit for average, produced in key spots, and proved durable and coach-trustworthy from day one—an upbeat fit for a team needing a contact-first infielder with legit run-production upside.
