veteran EKU linebacker and defense-setter
Chris Kelly stands out as a reliable, high-motor linebacker who has been described by Eastern Kentucky as a player battling for middle-linebacker playing time and one of the leaders of the defense. That combination matters: he brings communication, toughness, and a feel for the game that coaches value in the middle of a unit. If you want a linebacker who can stabilize a defense, set the tone physically, and contribute as a steady presence rather than a flashy stat-chaser, Kelly is the kind of fit that earns trust quickly.
