veteran guard with a proven scoring track record, but limited recent production at Western Michigan
McDermed is a 6'3" guard from Frankfort, Illinois, whose current Western Michigan output has been very limited, with season averages around 0.2 points, 0.1 rebounds, and 0.2 assists and a 14.3% field-goal rate, so the box score does not yet show meaningful impact[2][1][7]. What makes him worth tracking is his background as a high-volume high school scorer and captain at Don Bosco Prep, where he averaged 15.0 points as a junior and 17.0 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists as a senior, suggesting some shot-creation and competitive edge if he earns a larger role[8].
