A versatile Wright State forward with size, but still searching for a bigger scoring punch
In her most recent Wright State season, Nia Sumpter showed a role-player profile rather than a featured scorer, averaging 1.0 points, 1.7 rebounds, 0.3 assists and shooting 28.0% from the field, per ESPN. At 5-foot-11, her value is more about frontcourt size and versatility than box-score production, making her a low-usage, depth-oriented fit rather than a centerpiece. If your team needs a hardworking forward who can provide physical minutes and development upside, she’s worth a look; if you need immediate offensive impact, the current stat line says “not yet.”
