Elon’s steady floor general with a smooth scoring touch
In the 2007-08 season, Montell Watson was a veteran Elon guard known for creating offense for himself and teammates, and he finished with a reputation as a consistent shooter who could handle either backcourt spot. Elon’s own bio highlights his leadership, quickness, and long-range accuracy, while career records show he ranked among the program’s all-time leaders in three-point shooting, which is a strong fit for a team needing a calm, experienced perimeter organizer. If you want a guard who can steady an offense and stretch the floor without forcing the issue, he’s the kind of glue guy coaches love.
