WCC Pitcher of the Week with a proven bat-missing profile
Cari Ferguson has shown she can be a difference-making arm for Santa Clara, earning West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week honors after shutting down Saint Mary’s, and her recent track record points to a pitcher who can control games with command and competitiveness. In 2025, she posted a 2.43 ERA across 100.2 innings with 60 strikeouts, plus strong club-level results earlier in her development, suggesting durability and upside. She looks like a good fit for a staff that values a steady competitor who can handle real innings and elevate in big moments.
