Experienced Kentucky WR with all-around value and vertical-play upside
Bernard is a dependable Kentucky wide receiver who earned a larger role by contributing after a junior-college transfer and showing good all-around ability in spring work and games. UK’s roster notes say he was in the regular rotation, had 14 catches for 197 yards and a touchdown in 2002, and started once, which points to a player who can handle real snaps rather than just practice hype. His biggest appeal is experience, versatility, and trustworthiness in the offense; he looks like a fit for a team that wants a mature, rotational receiver who can make chain-moving plays and stretch the field.
