Denise Lawrence brings steady guard play and late-game poise for UNCW
In the 2006-07 season, Denise Lawrence was a dependable UNCW guard who contributed 4.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.6 steals per game while shooting 76% at the free-throw line. Her value shows up in the gritty stuff: she logged 20.7 minutes per game, attacked enough to earn trips to the line, and showed clutch composure in tight finishes. She projects as a fit for teams that want toughness, experience, and a low-drama, all-in competitor who can settle a game down when it gets messy.
