Tate Sirmans brings instant-pop upside, but the bat is still coming around
In the 2026 season, Tate Sirmans flashed legit upside for Ole Miss by homering in his first career game and finishing with a .178 average in 25 appearances, mostly as a pinch hitter. His calling card is power potential and athletic versatility at UT, with a prep résumé that included two Georgia 7A first-team all-state nods and Perfect Game All-American honors. The fit question is bat consistency: he’s shown game-changing pop, but he needs more reliable contact to become more than a sparks-off-the-bench piece.
