Alcorn State's Legendary LB Howard Clark: Tackling Machine from the Braveheart Era
Howard Clark, a Fayette, Miss. product and No. 31 on Alcorn State's Top 50 Greatest Football Players list, dominated as the Braves' leading tackler in 1999 with 70 total tackles, 4 TFLs, and a pick across his 1998-2001 career, showcasing relentless intensity and football IQ that turned games. His blue-collar tenacity and SWAC pedigree make him a differentiator for run-stopping defenses—no major injury flags noted—ideal for teams needing a hard-nosed, sideline-to-sideline LB who elevates the front seven.
