Jordan Benton gives Murray State a proven, efficient kicking weapon
Benton is a Murray State kicker who has already shown game-ready reliability: he went 11-for-14 on field goals, made 53 of 54 extra points, and finished the year perfect over the final nine games while earning a Phil Steele top-11 FCS kicker ranking. His calling card is consistency under pressure, plus enough kickoff value to handle multiple special-teams duties. For a team that wants a steady, low-drama specialist who can flip field position and cash in inside the arc, he fits the mold.
