Nick Scalera brings proven size and red-zone polish to the Wildcats’ receiver room
Nick Scalera has the kind of frame that changes coverages: listed at 6-foot-5, 220 pounds, he gives Abilene Christian a big-bodied target with experience both as a tight end and wide receiver. In the 2024 season at Southeastern, he played in all nine games and posted 4 receptions for 43 yards, while his 2022 season showed more production with 11 catches for 101 yards and 2 touchdowns. The differentiator is his length, versatility, and catch-radius upside more than raw volume, making him a useful fit for teams needing a possession target who can win on the boundary and in the red zone.
