Edward Ruiz brings guard-size versatility and under-the-radar depth to SFA
Ruiz is a **junior guard** for Stephen F. Austin listed at **6-1, 175**, but the real value case is fit: he gives the Lumberjacks a compact, perimeter-oriented piece who can slot into a depth role without needing the offense built around him.[8] Public stat-tracking snapshots suggest he has not been a high-usage producer, so he projects more as a *rotation stabilizer* than a volume scorer right now.[1] For teams, the appeal is a low-drama, team-first guard who adds roster flexibility; the caution is that there is limited public evidence of standout statistical impact at the college level so far.[1][8]
