Young Thompson brings Arizona a classic trench plugger with proven Wildcats roots
Young Thompson is listed by Arizona as a defensive tackle, but there isn’t enough reliable current production data in the available sources to quantify his 2026 impact; what stands out is the Wildcats’ continued association with a name tied to their defensive lineage, suggesting a depth-piece profile rather than a headline-grabber. For a team, the appeal would be size, interior body control, and rotational value if he’s active in the current defensive line mix—but based on the available information, his current role, rankings, and stat-leader standing can’t be verified with confidence.
