Brandon Jones brings veteran ball-hawk energy to Texas State
Brandon Jones stands out as a rangy, playmaking safety with proven interception instincts and physical reliability; in his 2024 NFL season, he posted 79 tackles, 10 passes defended, and 3 interceptions, showing the kind of center-field range and urgency that translate to winning football. Earlier in his college career at Texas, he totaled 233 tackles and 4 interceptions across 47 games, which backs up the résumé with real production. If Texas State wants a safety who can read routes, trigger fast, and inject some swagger into the secondary, Jones is the kind of fit that makes offenses think twice.
