Jala Buster brings two-way guard value and veteran scoring touch to Texas Southern
Jala Buster is a proven guard who has shown she can score in bunches while also contributing on the glass and as a disruptive defender; at South Alabama in 2019-20, she averaged 5.6 points, 3.0 rebounds, 21 assists, 21 steals, and 13 blocks across 30 games with 19 starts, and later flashed double-figure scoring for Texas Southern against LSU in 2021. That mix of perimeter activity, defensive versatility, and experience makes her a useful fit for teams that want a tough, multi-purpose backcourt piece rather than just a pure scorer.
