Maryland's Rock-Solid Guard from the 2010 Era
Andrew Gonnella was a physical, versatile three-year starter at guard for the Maryland Terrapins, anchoring left guard in all 13 games during the 2010 season for an offense ranked 29th nationally in scoring (32.2 ppg) and tied for 5th in fewest sacks allowed; his durability and ability to play both guard spots make him a prototypical NFL developmental prospect, though post-2011 career details are sparse—ideal for teams seeking battle-tested, high-intensity linemen with proven FBS reliability.
