Ricky Bennett is a **physical, veteran-style safety** with New Mexico
Bennett brings a **6-foot, 213-pound** frame and a safety profile built more for **reliability and toughness** than splashy stat lines, with ESPN listing him at 21 solo tackles, 0 interceptions, and 0 passes defended in his logged New Mexico season. He stands out as a compact, physical defender who can fit in a team that values run support and disciplined back-end play, while his earlier high-school/offense-heavy production suggests versatility and football instincts. If you need a steady, hard-nosed DB rather than a ball-hawk, he’s a fit worth monitoring.
