Jiselle Thomas was ETSU’s do-everything closer in 2022-23
Thomas delivered a true lead-guard season for East Tennessee State in 2022-23, averaging 15.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists while shooting 40% from the field and 84% at the line across 35 games. She was a first-team All-SoCon pick, hit 1,500 career points in her final game, and repeatedly showed big-moment scoring punch, including a 32-point outburst at St. Bonaventure. The fit: a veteran bucket-getter with efficiency at the stripe, competitive toughness, and enough passing/rebounding to steady an offense—exactly the kind of guard you trust when the game gets spicy.
