Josh Ahern brings veteran toughness and dependable depth to Virginia’s linebacker room
A senior linebacker for Virginia, Josh Ahern stands out more for reliability, versatility, and toughness than for flashy counting stats. In 2022 he appeared in six games with five starts and in 2023 earned ACC Honor Roll recognition, while reporting from the *Daily Progress* noted he played through injury late in the season, a useful signal of his competitiveness and durability mindset. At 6-3 and 236 pounds, he profiles as a solid fit for teams that value disciplined linebacker play, depth, and a player who can handle adversity without blinking.
