a bruising, durable NDSU workhorse with proven production
Kyle Steffes is the kind of North Dakota State back coaches love: durable, downhill, and productive, with a career rushing line of 3,376 yards and 40 touchdowns on 676 carries, good for 5.0 yards per carry in his NDSU career. He stacked back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons and was repeatedly described as having excellent speed, good size, and power, plus the toughness to handle heavy workloads. That blend of efficiency and reliability makes him a strong fit for teams that value a no-drama, chain-moving runner who can wear down defenses.
