Briggs Bourgeois brings a proven, accurate leg to Southern Miss
Briggs Bourgeois is a steady Southern Miss kicker whose value is simple: he has already shown real game production, with ESPN listing a 78.4% field-goal rate, 95.0% on extra points, and a long of 53 yards, while Southern Miss notes he previously hit 15 of 19 field goals with a 51-yard long in high school. He profiles as a dependable, low-drama specialist who can help in tight games, and his background as a multi-sport athlete suggests solid athleticism for the position.
