From EMU Bench Spark to Dawn Staley's Gamecock Assistant Ace
Wendale Farrow, a former Eastern Michigan G/F who averaged 3.9 PPG and 3.9 RPG on 45.7% FG and 42.9% 3PT shooting in the 2008-09 season, has evolved into a powerhouse women's basketball assistant coach. Now in his second year (2026) with undefeated national champ South Carolina under Dawn Staley after key stints at USC (2025 Big Ten title) and Cal (three 20-win seasons, All-Pac-12 guards), he's mentored eight WNBA picks and fueled six NCAA Tournaments with Elite Eights. His guard development expertise, recruiting prowess (e.g., JuJu Watkins buzz), and championship pedigree make him a differentiator—perfect for programs chasing titles.
