Iona's Steady Third-Year Guard from 2009 Era
Kiera Schiavetta, a third-year guard for the Iona Gaels in the 2008-09 season, brought Northport, NY grit to the court as a biology/chemistry major, though specific playing stats are limited as she did not record notable contributions that sophomore year; her high school roots via sister Kaylie's standout prep career (23.5 PPG, 7 APG) suggest family basketball pedigree and sharpshooting potential. Reliable but unflashy, she's a low-risk fit for teams needing dependable bench depth and intense work ethic—worth a scout if seeking undervalued MAAC talent.
