Stretch-forward veteran with proven shooting touch and steady all-around production
Ellis is a 6'8" forward who stood out for Saint Louis as a versatile, floor-spacing big with career college production of 10.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, plus 1.2 assists in 28.0 minutes, while showing he can score without dominating the ball.[1][6] His differentiators are his outside shooting gravity and veteran feel; he later carried that profile into a long pro career in Australia, where reports highlighted durable, high-volume scoring and leadership, including championship-level experience.[7][10] He fits best as a smart, experienced forward who can stretch defenses and stabilize a rotation rather than overpower opponents physically.[1][7]
