Georgia Tech’s versatile, high-upside mauler with NFL projection
Mansfield Wrotto was a four-year starter for Georgia Tech, spending three seasons on the defensive line before moving to offensive tackle in 2006, and he was later drafted by Seattle in 2007 because of that rare size/position flexibility combo. In 2005, Georgia Tech’s line helped hold opponents to 84 rushing yards per game and just 28% on third down, a strong hint at Wrotto’s impact as part of the group. What makes him interesting is the upside: big frame, toughness, and enough athletic adaptability to project beyond one spot, though his relative inexperience at offensive tackle was a known limitation.
