Huey Gardner brings veteran receiver size and experience to McNeese
Huey Gardner is listed at 6-1, 192 and has been used as a wide receiver for McNeese, giving the Cowboys a bigger-bodied target with veteran experience in the program[1][4]. The available records show him as a long-tenured player in the McNeese system rather than a headline-grabbing stat merchant, which usually signals reliability, assignment awareness, and a player coaches trust in the room and on the field[1][4]. If you want a polished, physical WR who can help stabilize a depth chart, Gardner looks like the kind of fit that matters more in the details than in the flash[1][4].
