a steady, veteran Hornets guard with real program DNA
Jeffery Middlebrooks is a former Alabama State guard whose value was built on longevity, clutch shot-making, and team-first competitiveness—he still ranks among the school’s all-time leaders in games played (128) and averaged double figures as a junior and senior in the 2023-24 Alabama State media guide. His profile fits the classic “reliable veteran backcourt piece” mold: experienced, composed, and trusted in big moments, with the kind of continuity and toughness coaches love for culture and stability. If you’re building around guard poise and accountability, he’s the type of player worth caring about.
