Marlin Dean brings veteran pass-rush juice and disruptive versatility
Marlin Dean enters the 2026 season as a multi-transfer linebacker/edge with real production behind him: in the 2025 season at Georgia State, he logged 32 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, a safety, and a forced fumble in 11 games. He’s the kind of old-school, high-motor defender who can flash off the edge, finish plays in the backfield, and add value on special situations. At 6-foot-5 and about 240 pounds, he has size, length, and a veteran résumé, but his best fit is a scheme that lets him attack rather than read-and-react all day.
