Indiana State’s Darius Middlebrooks Brings Veteran DB Bloodlines and Ball-Hawking Pedigree
Middlebrooks is a long-time Indiana State defensive back whose profile is built on production and playmaking: his school bio lists 202 career tackles, five forced fumbles, seven fumble recoveries, and three interceptions, plus All-State recognition in high school. That mix of tackling, takeaway creation, and experience makes him the kind of DB who can tilt a defense with instinct and toughness, not just athletic flash. For a team, the appeal is clear: he looks like a reliable, physical secondary piece with proven instincts and a knack for disrupting plays.
