Michael LoVett III brings veteran CB depth and return-game juice to Texas State
Michael LoVett III is a seasoned defensive back with proven versatility: in 2019 at New Mexico, he logged 15 tackles and became the primary kickoff returner, averaging 24.3 yards per return, and in 2021 he added 22 tackles and 3 passes defended for Texas State. The differentiator is experience—he’s played multiple roles, has special-teams value, and offers a physically mature, battle-tested presence at corner. If a team wants a plug-in competitor with return ability and some swagger in the secondary, he’s a very solid fit.
